Thematisch repertoire

Zomer 2022 is Bobby’s Big Band een nieuwe muzikale koers ingeslagen en wordt ieder half jaar een thematisch project gestart. Het repertoire wordt speciaal geselecteerd voor dit thema en waar nodig gearrangeerd. Onder leiding van een hiervoor aangestelde dirigent sluiten we de periode af  met een aantal optredens in de regio en (ver) daarbuiten.

Vast repertoire

Naast deze thematische aanpak vergeet Bobby’s Big Band het vaste repertoire niet. Zo kan voor alle feesten en andere gelegenheden in overleg een passend optreden verzorgd worden. Enige voorbeelden van muziek uit het vaste repertoire zijn: Fly me to the moon, Moondance, Hay Burner, Take the A train en vele andere nummers bekend van de grote big bands van toen en nu. Ook populaire eigentijdse nummers zoals Happy, Last dance, Against all odds, Can’t buy me love, Valerie en All about that Bass spelen we met veel passie en plezier.
